Waterford Airport Announce CEO Departure

January 12th

Waterford Airport has today, Friday 12th January, announced that Desmond O’Flynn is leaving
the role of Airport CEO.

The Board of the Airport thanked Mr O’Flynn for his hard work over the last four years and has
wished him well for the future.

It remains the priority of the Board to secure the necessary funding to extend the runway in order
to ensure that the Airport can offer air connectivity to the UK and Europe for the South East.

Waterford Airport continues to maintain the Coast Guard helicopter search and rescue service
for the South East, and to provide direct access for business and corporate aircraft that underpin
many key industries in the region.
