The Management Team

Graham Doyle, Chief Executive

Graham took up the post of Chief Executive of Waterford Airport in late September 2006. He has worked at a senior level as a management consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Dublin, specialising in financial and strategic planning with clients in both the public and private sectors. In January 2006, he completed a two year secondment as Financial Advisor to the Department of Transport where, as part of that role, he advised on a number of aviation issues, including the privatisation of Aer Lingus and the business structure for Dublin Airport's development of a second terminal.


Aidan Power, General Manager

Aidan has nearly twenty years experience in the aviation sector having been involved in areas such as Airport Operations, Aviation Security, Rescue Fire Fighting and Air Traffic Control. Aidan took up the position of General Manager in 2003 and is responsible for airport operations, safety and security. He is currently working closely with the Chief Executive in implementing the airport’s development plans.


Alice O’Keeffe, Financial Controller

Alice joined Waterford Airport in April 2007. She has extensive experience in industry, most recently as Financial Accountant for Kerry Foods in Dublin and previously in business and private practice.


Mattie Whittle – Chief Fire Officer and Operations Manager

Mattie joined the company in 1994 as part of the airport’s operations team. He qualified as a Fire Officer in 2001 and took up the position of Chief Fire Officer in 2003. As Operations Manager, he is responsible for interacting with airlines and the efficient running of the airport.


Donal Leahy – Air Traffic Services Manager

Donal joined the Waterford Airport staff in 1985 as part of the Operations team. He held the position of Senior Operations Supervisor until he qualified as an Air Traffic Controller in 1990. In 2003 he was promoted to Air Traffic Services Manager. His current responsibilities include the management, training and development of the airport's air traffic control staff. He is also responsible for the procurement and management of the navigation equipment at the airport.
