Mercy Primary School student, Tríona, was selected as the overall winner of Waterford Airport’s recent postcard design competition. Tríona’s design was selected from over 1,000 entries from around the South East to be used as a postcard to promote flights from Waterford Airport. As well as a holiday for her whole family to Bordeaux, Tríona also won art supplies for her school and a trip to Waterford Airport for her class.

The Collins family will be staying in the Grand Hotel Français in Bordeaux, where they’ll be able to sample all that the region has to offer, including its world-famous vineyards and historic town centre.

Aer Arann flies from Waterford to Amsterdam, Birmingham, Bordeaux, Faro, Galway, London, Lorient, Malaga and Manchester. For further information on flights from Waterford, go to www.flywaterford.com.
